Have you leaned into a ‘yes’ lately?

Have you leaned into a ‘yes’ lately?

For 2023- I promised myself to lean in and say ‘yes’ to all good personal and professional opportunities.  As a small business owner, I need to promote my business. My new ‘yes’ attitude has led me to try out some new things in Regina that I have not done before.

  1. Above the Fold’s #googlegirl Barb reached out to see if I would like to join her on her podcast ‘The Secret Life.’ The podcast chronicles the success and secrets of locally owned businesses and business owners here in Saskatchewan. A perfect opportunity to say ‘yes’ when I saw the invite in my LinkedIn account. Hope you enjoy the listen(available here on Apple & Google Podcasts).
  2. QCGifts.ca is now an official member of WESK- WESK is a non-profit, membership-based organization of over 1,200 members. Their focus is to help women like me in the pursuit of our dreams connecting like-minded professionals together. How could I not say ‘yes’? I met with my business advisor who left me with some homework. Plus I checked out an event at Crave – uncorked- where Audra from Farmer John’s explained their “WHY. Her homegrown approach was inspirational to see.
  3. If you haven’t attended a TEC session led by Gord Moker, you are seriously missing out on an invaluable resource. I leaned in and set ‘yes’- by attending as a guest at a peer group meeting. The community of like-minded business owners were able to discuss issues and provide help to each other. After attending the meeting I felt rejuvenated. The next meeting is March 31st details are here - https://tec-canada.com/events/upcoming-events/tec-experience-with-gord-moker-march-31/

I am going to continue on this ‘yes’ attitude and see where it takes me. Hopefully somewhere warm 😉
