Welcome to Filigree Chocolaterie. Their story began with a simple desire: a drive for creating and sharing elegant chocolates and confections that make the little things in life more enjoyable. Every bite is full of our love and commitment to the craft, featuring locally sourced and high-quality ingredients.
Owner and Red Seal Pastry Chef, Kent Lukey, combined his meticulous scientific knowledge and love of baking to create Filigree. He initially pursued a science degree at the U of R, but switched gears and took those skills to the kitchen, eventually receiving a Diploma in Baking and Pastry Arts from SAIT in addition to his Red Seal.
At Filigree, they strongly believe in the bee. It’s their symbol that represents hard work, diligence and prosperity. Without which, there would be no ingredients to create incredible products with. Highlighting the continued commitment to sustainability, packaging is carbon neutral and utilizes local and organic ingredients in all products. Small local businesses supporting each other, just like a bee colony.
